The ANZAC Hay Run is on again! Travelling the Newell Highway from Mundoona Northern Victoria, through Narrandera on Friday and Saturday, the convoy will then pass-through Parkes, Dubbo, Dunedoo, Coolah, and Gunnedah before overnighting in Tamworth.
On Sunday the convoy will continue through Casino via Bendemeer, Walcha, Wauchope, Coffs Harbour, and Grafton. Follow the ANZAC Hay Run on Facebook.
This will be the fourth run in as little as 8 weeks bringing hope to farmers – big and small who have been devastated by bushfires, constant flooding, and the pandemic. Carrying donations from Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania, the convoy will be accompanied by smaller vehicles with food hampers, personal care packs, kids’ toys, horse supplies and dog food for families doing it tough.
As the Need for Feed continues to grow, the group is calling for more volunteers to support the ANZAC run. You can help by donating your time with truck and trailer to support delivery of goods, donate good quality fodder and support the work of the group. If you need assistance, you can register with Need for Feed.
Need for Feed is a Lions Club project and a registered charity that is 100% managed and run by volunteers. To find out more contact grahamcockerell@needforfeed.org or kellylaffan@neeforfeed.org
