Germany Economic Cooperation and Development Minister Svenja Schulze is warning of a Global Food Crisis not seen since WW2 caused by the Pandemic and the ongoing Ukraine Military situation.

According to the UN World Food Program, 300 million people are already suffering. Food prices around the world are increasing drastically, Schultze stated we could see millions die and quickly blamed Russia, accusing President Putin of waging war through hunger.

The minister made various claims but did not offer any specific evidence for support. Also claims that biofuel in Germany needs to be reduced to zero, not just in Germany but potentially worldwide.

WFP’s Hunger Map depicts the prevalence of undernourishment in the population of each country in 2016-18. From Africa and Asia to Latin America and the Near East, there are 821 million people – more than 1 in 9 of the world population – who do not get enough to eat.

The World food crisis is a desperate situation and has been for decades, the west has too much, and developing countries do not have enough. Perhaps addressing this issue in an ethical, moral, and practical way, without demands, war, profits, and business involvement would be a more sensible solution. The figures above speak for themselves.
