A 26-year-old New Zealand man has died with his death being attributed to the Pfizer injection. Officials have confirmed after an investigation that his death was caused by the controversial public health policy.
The young man’s fiance of 6 years had spoken to AFIPN’s Sharney Clarke on ‘Silenced Not Silent’ where she spoke about her fiance’s symptoms and collapse in their home on the 9th of December.
This is at least the third death confirmed to have been caused by the shot in NZ with many other potential deaths unconfirmed and more occurring overseas.
The risk of myocarditis has long been known particularly for young males but still, the viral preventative has been deemed ‘safe and effective’ by officials.
‘With the currently available information, the Board has considered that the myocarditis was probably due to vaccination in this individual,’ the Independent Safety Monitoring Board said in a statement. The NZ safety board also mentioned that two other people, including a 13-year-old, had died with possible myocarditis after their vaccination. Investigations are ongoing.
A warning was issued in May by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that specifically young men under 30 were at risk of developing myocarditis after receiving the Moderna or Pfizer shots.
Myocarditis is heart inflammation, symptoms include fatigue, shortness of breath and chest pain. People with inflamed hearts are at higher risk for stroke, heart failure, heart attack and strenuous exercise can potentially lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death.
