Police are appealing for information after a fatal crash occurred in the Southern Downs, Queensland at around 5:30pm tonight.
A semi-trailer was travelling north on the New England Highway before t-boning a car at the
intersection of Granite Belt Drive.
Sadly, the four occupants in the car died at the scene from the injuries they sustained. At this stage investigators are working to establish their identities.
Queensland Fire and Emergency services remained on the scene, working to remove the bodies.
Police closed the northbound lanes near the intersection of Sawmill Road at The Summit in the Southern Downs in south-east Queensland.
Police have asked any witnesses, especially those who may have footage of the lead up to or the accident itself to come forward.
