The Queensland Police Service has advised that two deceased persons were located at a residence when officers responded to a welfare check in Rosewood on Friday afternoon.
Police have stated there is no ongoing risk to other landholders in the area.
Due to several items at the residence being identified as potentially hazardous, an emergency declaration was made on Friday 1 April 2022 and an exclusion zone for parts of Blakes Road and effected properties has been established. At this stage, police investigations suggest the deaths are not suspicious.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area.
