An operation is underway by officers from the New South Wales Auburn Police Area Command following a fatal shooting in Auburn on Tuesday.
Around 8pm on Tuesday night (10 May 2022) Emergency services were called to a business on Parramatta Road.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated two men at the scene.
The men were taken to the hospital in critical conditions, but despite the efforts by paramedics, one of the men has since passed away.
A crime scene has been established and investigations have commenced with the assistance of police attached to the State Crime Command’s Raptor and Criminal Groups Squads.
Police are advising the community to avoid the area as local diversions are in place, and a police operation is currently underway on Parramatta Road in Auburn.
