Tyler Sanders, an 18-year-old former child actor who started in show business at 10, tragically died last Thursday.
The “9-1-1: Lone Star” and “The Rookie” actor was found deceased in his home, with representatives for Sanders confirming the news of his passing on Friday. His agent Pedro Tapia told the New York Post:
“The cause of death is unknown and currently being investigated. We can’t comment further beyond this.”
“Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future. He comes from a wonderful family, and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
The promising young star had appeared in several television series and had an impressive list of credits, having appeared in series alongside actors such as Rob Lowe. He also received a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2021 for his role as ‘Leo” in Just add Magic.

Tributes for the young actor were posted on social media, with many offering condolences and remembering Sanders as a talented actor taken too soon.
Sander’s death is unknown at this time. According to a report by Radar Online, an autopsy was performed on Friday. The medical examiner has requested “more investigation into the death, including additional studies,” and will determine the cause of death pending the results of the tests.
