Moscow has made startling claims that Russian forces in Kiev have unearthed documents and other evidence from inside US-funded bio-labs that indicate Kiev was planning to use drones to deploy pathogens against Donbas, as well as Russia itself. The Russian Defence Ministry has also alleged that it has sufficient evidence to identify specific US officials involved in the development of bio weapons in Ukraine. At this stage, no direct evidence has been provided to back up this claim.
Major General Igor Konashenkov outlined that Russian investigators found particular documents of interest, “testifying to the plans of the Kiev regime to use unmanned aerial vehicles capable of carrying and spraying deadly substances”. Russian military claim to possess factual evidence that “proves that the Kiev regime was seriously considering the possibility of using biological weapons against the population of the Donbass and the Russian Federation”. He also stated that they have identified “specific officials who took part in the creation of components of biological weapons,” although not yet naming anyone in particular he said that they are “the heads of divisions and employees of the US Department of Defense, as well as its main contractors.” Konashenkov added that evidence is “directly related to the son of the current US president, Hunter Biden”.
Further analysis and details of the collected evidence and documents from the Ukrainian bio-labs will be shared “in the near future at a special briefing,” Konashenkov promised.
Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, commander of the Russian Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Forces, verified the US funding of Ukrainian bio-labs during a briefing on March 24th.
Originally, Washington denied the allegations of
Pentagon-funded bio-laboratories in Ukraine claiming that they were “Russian disinformation.” However, that has drastically changed as US diplomat Victoria Nuland testified before the senate that there were in fact “biological research laboratories in Ukraine”, the US also funded these labs through organization’s such as Black and Veatch and Metabiota and that the US was working with Kiev “to ensure that the materials of biological research do not fall into the hands of Russian forces.”
