A gathering of a conservatively estimated ten to fifteen thousand people gathered on Saturday behind channel 7 to participate in the freedom rally, before taking to Port road in a march to protest the current vaccine mandates and work place discrimination in place under the claim of emergency powers.
From midday the carpark was behind channel 7 was flooded with people who want to see an end to mandatory vaccination and vaccine discrimination. It was a cross section of vaccinated and unvaccinated, including doctors, nurses, police officers and teachers (amongst thousands of others) who have recently been told that they must participate in the Covid vaccination scheme or become unemployable in their field.
Guest speakers took the stage (or the ute tray as it was!) to discuss their experiences. These stories ranged from a lawsuit currently being taken against main stream media; the accusation being of biased reporting on covid and the vaccination statistics, The treatment of Indigenous Australians in the Northern Territory where it was told they are currently being taken to isolation camps against their will, And discussions on the current narrative and scientific facts that don’t add up to what we are being told by the main stream media.
Being there today live streaming from the crowd, I witnessed a peaceful demonstration championing the virtues of love, unity and togetherness. The speakers simply asking the Australian people to listen to their stories, to look at the facts, and to be given the chance to make properly educated decisions on their health choices.
