Police have charged a 32-year-old Goodna man after allegedly claiming to be a paramedic to establish relationships with women, giving them assistance, medical advice, and examinations at various times over the last three years.
On multiple occasions since 2019, the man allegedly assaulted a 28-year-old woman who was known to him.
The man has been charged with 5 counts of common assault, and one count each of claiming to be qualified to practice as a health professional, rape, wilful damage, and contravention of a domestic violence order.
He was refused bail and it set to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court on Monday, April 11.
Investigations are ongoing, and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
