LIVE UPDATES:

4:19PM: The protestors were unable to get the protest going again and have called it a day. This will end our live coverage for the day. A recap will be available later this afternoon/evening.

2:52PM: Protestors are currently trying to regroup and are expected to meet back up again at 3pm, according to social media messages.

2:10PM: Joel has gone offline at the moment and will try and see if he can meet up with any protestors but due to the extreme response from the Police and mass arrests the group has been completely split up. The Real Ruskhan also is going offline. At this stage it looks at thought the Police has successfully shut the protest down.

2:05PM: The Real Ruskhan is speaking live now with a very emotional teacher who is devastated because she is being forced to get vaccinated. She teaches a group of 9 year old’s and whilst she doesn’t want the vaccination she is very upset because she doesn’t want to leave her students. She said her students have been so much and they don’t deserve to lose their teacher. She is undecided if she will get vaccinated, she does not want to but feel completely forced and may do it for the children she teaches.

1:56PM: Live footage from Joel have shown injuries among the protestors showing the brute force being using by Victorian Police.

1:52PM: Police have made a move on the crowd, arresting multiple people. Protestors were in no way aggressive towards the Police. The protest was peaceful when the Police in their hundreds made a move.

1:45PM: AFIPN correspondent Joel Gilmour has now gone live at https://www.facebook.com/joel.gilmour1/videos/2753418564961844/

1:42PM: Multiple bus loads of Police have arrived, one group is following the protestors whilst another is on the other side of the protestors. It is possible that the Police are looking to surround the protestors.

1:23PM: The crowd is continuing to build and would now be one to two hundred. Police are not engaging with the crowd at present and just following behind. The Real Rukshan is reporting that they are blocking streets, a common kettling practice.

1:11PM: We did attempt to stream multiple feeds from live feeds but the quality was poor. You can watch the Real Rukshan live here https://fb.watch/8nxNswLfTU/

1:10PM: The reports about the Real Rukshan was disinformation posted on Telegram. We can confirm he is live now.

12:49PM: There are unconfirmed rumors that the Real Rukshan is not live streaming today as he is ill.

12:47PM: Protestors are currently trying to form in numbers, locations of meet up are being posted every 15 minutes or so on Telegram chats.
