Following an incident in a popular Sydney pub. Two groups of approximately 15 men were removed by security.
What initially seemed to be a minor affray quickly escalated into a horrific and disturbing street brawl, which resulted in a young man suffering a life-threatening head injury.
23-year-old Evander Tuala was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital with critical head injuries and was placed on life support.
Due to his horrific injuries, his life support was turned off. Evander passed away around 7.30pm on Monday.
Shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic events, family members have paid tribute on social media.

Police were called to the scene around 12.35am. They quickly pursued and apprehended three men in relation to the brawl.
Detective Superintendent John Duncan said a fight broke out between two different groups, from the information so far one group was from western suburbs and the other is from the eastern beach area.
Police are using all resources available to identify everyone involved in the brawl. A large number of detectives, including the homicide squad, have been assigned.
Duncan said, “Come to us before we come to you.”
