The Slovakian Foreign Ministry has given three Russian diplomats 72 hours to leave the country after they have been accused of spying for Russia’s regime. The Slovak government has indicated that these people have violated the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations.
A leading newspaper in Slovakia also states that there have been a number of arrests linked to espionage. The diplomats have not been named, but it is known to be an army colonel, a journalist and a member of the Slovakian Intelligence Service (SiS).
The police will hold a news conference to clear up more details tomorrow.
