Studio 10 advertorial presenter and mother of three young girls, Erin Jayne Plummer has died suddenly over the weekend, at age 42.

The tragic news of Erin’s death was announced by Studio 10, hosts Sarah Harris and Angela Bishop on Monday’s show:

“We’ve got some really sad news to share this morning.”

“Over the weekend, Studio 10 lost a bit of its sparkle with our friend and advertorial host Erin Jayne passing away suddenly.”

Harris and Bishop went on to pay tribute to their friend and colleague, describing Erin as a ‘high achiever’ with a ‘bubbly personality and a megawatt smile.’

Erin aerobicized her way into the heart of 40 million people worldwide presenting Aerobics Oz Style from 1982 to 2005.

She also represented Australia in three world championship synchronized swimming events winning 11 national titles, also representing the nation in surf lifesaving.

She came to be known as the ‘Danoz girl,’ and graced our television for two decades selling us everything from steam mops to fitness equipment on Mornings with Kerri-Anne, The Morning Show and The Circle.

In a tribute to Erin, Studio 10 host Sarah Harris said,

“Erin was just a gorgeous human inside and out, and if it wasn’t for TV, perhaps Erin may have had a sporting career.”

“We’ll miss your sunshine around the studio Erin Jayne and all of us here are sending lots of love and strength to her family,” Harris said.

“You’ll be very missed.”
