Investigations are underway by Tasmanian Police following the suspicious death of a man yesterday in the suburb of Howrah, 12 km east of Hobart.
Around 3pm, Police and emergency services were called to attend a residence in Allumba Street after reports of the sudden death of a 74-year-old man.
Investigating police report they located a deceased man at the residence who had sustained a wound to his chest.
Police including officers from CIB, Forensics, and Uniform attended the scene and are conducting further examinations.
Police arrested a 38-year-old man at the scene who is currently assisting police with their investigations surrounding the circumstances of the 74-year-olds death.
