In the last 48 hours, the Western Australian Police Force has released details relating to investigations into three separate incidences of fatal crashes which have occurred over the last week in Hester Brook, Bayswater, and Dandalup. The series of fatal crashes have resulted in three deaths and left another person critically injured.
Major Crash Investigation Section officers are investigating a fatal crash in Hester Brook.
On Saturday 23 April 2022 around 9:55am a Ford Maverick being driven south on South Western Highway, and a Holden Commodore also travelling south on South Western Highway, were involved in a collision in Hester Brook near Forest Park Avenue just north of Bridgetown.
The driver of the Ford Maverick, an 18-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, an 18-year-old female, was flown to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC Rescue helicopter and is being treated for serious injuries.

On Saturday 23 April 2022 around 11:00pm a red Honda Motorcycle headed north-east along Whatley Crescent, and a red Kia Picanto being driven south-west along Whatley Crescent were involved in a collision at the intersection of Railway Parade in Bayswater.
The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man, was critically injured and taken to Royal Perth Hospital but died as a result of his injuries. The 44-year-old driver of the Kia was uninjured.

On Sunday 17 April 2022 at 6:44pm a red Holden Calais sedan headed northeast on Shanns Road travelled straight through the T-junction of Shanns Road and Lakes Road resulting in the vehicle rolling over.
The driver, a 29-year-old male who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment but later died as a result of his injuries.
