Garissone Innocent, a 20-year-old goalkeeper on loan from Paris’s Saint- Germain team collapsed on the field in the last minutes of the game
In the 86th minute, Innocent fell unconscious standing alone in his penalty area.
He was treated by medics on the field before being rushed to the hospital where he remained overnight
While the 20-year-old is in a ‘stable condition,’ reports from French news outlet Ouest-France said that Innocent was diagnosed as having suffered a tachycardia attack causing him to lose consciousness.
Following Innocent being stretchered off the field, coach Pascal Dupraz said, “He had trouble speaking and breathing. I hope everything’s going to be okay.”
“These are scenes you don’t expect to see on the pitch. All my thoughts are with him,” Dupraz said.
Innocent’s home team Paris Saint Germain held concerns over the goal keepers collapse posting an update on Twitter as he was rushed to hospital, saying
“Garissone Innocent is aware, taken care of by SAMU after the end of match incident. We give you news quickly.”

Innocent’s on field collapse followed scenes in the first half of the match which saw
Chambly goalkeeper Xavier Pinoteau hurried to the hospital after he was knocked unconscious and required a brain scan.
Pinoteau who survived the incident thanked emergency services for their quick response, saying “A big thank you to the SAMU [French emergency services], the doc and the rescuers for their efficiency and their kindness! PS: I haven’t said my last word!”
