March has already been a month of health scares and tragedy, seeing the deaths of cricket legends Shane Warne and Rod Marsh, and Victorian Labor Senator Kimberly Kitching.
What do they have in common? They each suffered suspected heart attacks. The newest name to add to the list of those who have suffered heart related issues this month, is 52-year-old ex AFL star Dean Wallis.
The ex-Bomber was rushed to hospital in Bendigo on Saturday after suffering a suspected heart attack in Echuca, where he underwent lifesaving surgery and is now recovering in hospital.
The dual Essendon Premiership hard man, Wallis, played 127 games for the Bombers in his day, and when his playing career ended, he went on as assistant coach at St Kilda, Essendon and Fremantle.
Although he has a sour past with the Bombers he recently reconnected with the club, attending a recent hall of fame function.
This major health scare came just days after cricket Legend Shane Warne was found unresponsive following a suspected heart attack in Thailand. The pair are the same age, as was Kimberly Kitching.

Your “report” stops short of a proper analysis. Yes, they died of heart attacks so why didn’t you keep going and find the reason for those heart attacks? Were you or your bosses afraid of reporting that the heart attacks were caused by vaccines?
